Guitar, Mandolin, and Fiddle Lessons

I’ve been teaching guitar, mandolin, and fiddle since the fall of 1979, and over that period have seen thousands of students of all levels and many styles.

Currently, I do most of my teaching at Elderly Instruments in Lansing, MI while also teaching at my private home studio.

  • Mandolin: All folk styles (Bluegrass/Celtic and more), Jazz
  • Fiddle: Celtic, Bluegrass, Old Time, and more.

Rates: $25.00 / half hour.

An Outline of My Teaching

As I say in the video, it’s never too late to keep learning. Recently, I attended a jazz guitar retreat in Big Indian, NY to study with my favorite jazz guitarist, Martin Taylor and played with Gypsy Jazz great Robin Nolan.
